-- Many Thanks to Vatche Sahakian for making this possible!

Please join us at Caltech for a regional meeting of string theorists from the greater Los Angeles area on April 11-12.  All talks will be held in 269 Lauritsen on the Caltech campus (room location subject to change).  See below for maps and directions.

On Saturday, the Caltech campus eateries will be closed so Saturday lunch will be provided for all participants.  To help defray lunch and coffee costs, we ask that each participant contribute $5 toward these expenses.

If you plan to attend, PLEASE REGISTER BY APRIL 1 by sending an e-mail to Joseph Marsano (marsano "at" theory.caltech.edu) with subject line "SCSS 2008".  In this e-mail, please indicate which days you will participate in the meeting as well as any special dietary needs you may have for Saturday's lunch.  We can only guarantee lunch on Saturday for people who register.

Getting Here:

Maps and directions can be found at the links below.  We recommend that you park in the California Blvd Parking garage (structure 3 on the parking map) or the Tournament lot (lot 6 on the parking map).  Visitor permits can be obtained at automated pay machines in either of these locations.  Note that permits are only required on Friday as parking on Saturday is free.
If you have any questions or concerns, please send an e-mail to Joseph Marsano.
