| Research Interests: | I am interested in two dimensional conformal field theories and their applications in string theory. Some of my current work is on the AdS3/CFT2 gauge-gravity correspondence, the Alday-Gaiotto-Tachikawa correspondence, and crossing symmetry and modularity of 2d CFTs in general. |

| Brief CV: | I did my Ph.D. with Matthias Gaberdiel at ETH Zürich from 2006 through 2008. After that I spent a year as a postdoc at Harvard. I came to Caltech as a McCone fellow in 2009. A more detailed CV can be found here. |
