Research interests

My main areas of research are quantum field theory in general and string theory. I am particularly interested in non-perturbative dualities in field theory and string theory, conformal field theory in dimension two and higher, integrable QFT models,  D-branes and their relation to QFT, topological string theory and mirror symmetry for Calabi-Yau manifolds. I am also interested in mathematical aspects of mirror symmetry.
