I have recently moved to KITP , but will be visitor at Caltech one day a week.
I am a John A. McCone Postdoctoral Scholar in Theoretical Physics at the California Institute of Technology. Before joining the string theory group at Caltech I spent three years as a postdoc at the II. Institute for Theoretical Physics of the University of Hamburg/DESY in Germany, where I went after completing my PhD at DAMTP, Cambridge, UK. Advisors: Prof Matthias R Gaberdiel (ETH, Zurich) and Prof Peter Goddard (IAS, Princeton).
Research Interests:
Gauge/string theory dualities, in particular integrability in the AdS/CFT correspondence
SUSY breaking and phenomenology of F-theory GUTs
Other topics which I have worked on in the past are generalized complex geometries and compactifications with non-trivial NSNS flux.
